This is an assignment I had to do for my illustration class ( that i am no longer in since i had to drop out of all my classes. ) but anyways..no hard feelings... I will just be a college student for the rest of my life. I got the inspiration from the drive up to Bogus Basin, which is our ski resort here in Boise. Within the first mile, there is this slight hill with an extremely old broken down car on the side of it. Every time we drive past it i think ,"where were you going?" it's just puzzling because it's just in the middle of no where. But i appreciate it being there because I really like how this piece turned out!

Snow Day...so why not start a blog.
With this being my first post and all...it's going to make all of my other posts look really wimpy since I have a lot of time of time on my hands today. Anyways, My hubby and I had found this really old beat up desk at a thrift store a few weeks ago... we saw it's potential and decided to run with it. So he did all the cleaning up and I was in charge of the finishing touches. We ended up being the hillbillies on the block and kept our Christmas tree on the back porch until late February...but lucky for us we were able to incorporate it into the legs of this piece. So here it is!
